On Friday, October 28, 2016, Musa Reems dropped his first official, solo music video, “Not With Gang”, via flowsfordays.com. Over the past year Musa Reems has been working on a surprise project with Brooklyn, NY singer / songwriter, Amare Symoné. They have come together to form the neo – soul / hip hop duo, theinjuredparty. On April 26, 2017 the tag team dropped their debut project, theinjuredparty. EP. The EP was premiered via These Days News and the two were able to sit down with writer, Ray Mestad, for an in – depth interview. On February 27th, Musa released the video for the official single “44 4’s” off of his upcoming project, Lately I’ve Been Sol Searching 2. On Mar 2nd, 2018, Musa officially released his second EP with AEMMP Records titled, Lately I’ve Been Sol Searching 2. It was premiered via Pursuit of Dopeness.
After releasing, Lately I’ve Been Sol Searching 2, Musa recruited Ajani Jones and MARTIN $KY to release a bonus track titled, “IDGAF”, on the EP. Reems also caught up with Ray Mestad of These Days News to talk about what’s next. On August 22nd, Musa Reems dropped his new single, “Flodge”, produced by JXHNSCXTT. “Monthly Musa” is a series that Musa is doing every month until the holidays. On September 11, 2018 Musa dropped the GP Bains directed visual for “Flodge” via Color & Rhyme. The single and video serves as the first single from his upcoming project, Gamma Quietus.
